The “Centre de Formation Liweitari” (CFL) was founded in 2009 by Swiss Heinrich Roth, who came to Benin with his wife Elisabeth, who had already worked in the country for many years as a nurse, to build a seminary and retreat center for pastors and missionaries.
The need for vocational training for local youth was soon recognized, and the CFL was created. Today, it is run by local people and offers young people from all over Benin the opportunity to receive training in a variety of fields.
The CFL is now supported by the Verein Liweitari in Switzerland and the Freundeskreis Liweitari e.V. in Germany.
